Q&A with Kerry Price, Paid Social Account Manager

Q&A with Kerry Price, Paid Social Account Manager

Help us to welcome our latest fully remote hire: Kerry Price! And what better way to get to know her than with a few questions on her experience and hobbies.

How did you get into the industry?

I started out working in-house marketing with photographers, and then for a theatre and hotel. I was keen to specialise in Paid Social from pretty early on and achieved this when working at my previous agency.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love the nature of digital marketing, the fact that even though you’re constantly evolving as new trends, platforms and updates are introduced, the core goal remains. I love being able to use data to justify actions and strategies, and that there is always more to learn.

What’s your favourite campaign or client you’ve worked on?

Previously I loved working on campaigns for shows at the theatre, as each one was so different and had its own unique challenges.

Best achievement in your career so far?

For me, it’s all the steps it took to get to where I am today. After finishing my degree I took some time out to travel, when I returned to the UK I was working in the care sector and it took some hard work and determination to transition from that to marketing.

Any advice for anyone looking to get into a similar role?

Be interested, passionate and never be afraid to ask questions. When you’re genuinely excited it shows.

What does your ideal weekend look like?

Good coffee, browsing for bargains in the local charity shops, walks with my partner and his Harris Hawk, and a pint or two in the pub.

Do you have any interesting or not so interesting hobbies or interests?

I love exploring new places, eating good food and reading a variety of books. So nothing out of the ordinary really!
