Due to some incredibly exciting new client wins, we’re looking to appoint a Digital PR Specialist to join our Digital PR team, which sits within the Organic Performance team. Your role will support the team in our ambitious plans to scale and grow over the next few years.

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital PR, this is a multi-faceted position that is ideally suited to a flexible, methodical, and hard-working individual.

We’re looking for an ambitious individual, who can manage their own clients and is able to come up with, produce and outreach creative and innovative campaigns that will earn links and coverage in top tier, as well as relevant niche publications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and seeing projects through from conception to completion. 

Key Requirements:

  • Coming up with Digital PR strategies, creative hero campaign ideas and innovative stunts across a range of brands that will garner the interest of the media as well as our clients’ target audiences.

  • Identifying and creating valuable reactive opportunities for clients across various industries.

  • Independently lead the development and execution of campaigns within budget.

  • Managing relationships with topical experts, designers, data experts and translators.

  • Carry out keyword research that will inform your ideas as well as result in impactful onsite content that you will create for your clients’ campaigns.

  • Develop and manage the outreach strategy for all your campaigns.

  • Create media lists that target relevant and high authority sites and build strong relationships with journalists which result in them coming to you when they have a relevant story for your brand.

  • Write high quality headlines and press releases that will appeal to journalists.

  • Be an expert in using a variety of Digital PR and SEO tools to get the best possible results.

  • Propose and implement solutions to resolve campaign issues.

  • Manage and build excellent relationships with key clients (that you will own), stakeholders, and media connections.

  • Identifying relevant partner influencers when appropriate for campaigns.

  • Analysing the effectiveness of PR activity through monitoring results and providing regular reports and insights to clients and the Head of Department.

  • Consistently delivering excellent campaigns and results that meet (and exceed) client expectations.

  • Have a solid understanding of SEO and the impact of work on organic performance.

  • Working closely with and supporting internal teams (content, tech, PPC, social) to ensure our work is having the greatest impact in terms of improving overall organic performance as well as building brands.

  • Contribute to amplifying the agency's Digital PR offering be it through creating award winning campaigns, producing case studies, supporting with award submissions, writing blogs or taking on public speaking opportunities.

  • Assisting and providing training to junior team members to help develop basic skills and leading by example.

  • Proactively finding and sharing ways to incorporate new trends into your day-to-day role that will improve the teams’ overall ways of working.

  • Supporting with new business opportunities and growing existing partnerships through coming up with ideas, creating slides and attending pitches.

Essential Skills: 

  • 3+ years’ proven track record in a Digital PR role is essential.

  • A positive attitude!

  • Evidence of leading Digital PR creative campaigns that earn high quality links and coverage.

  • Experience working directly with clients and delivering results that retain and grow partnerships.

  • A confident communicator that can articulate plans and provide excellent and professional consultancy with clients.

  • Experience in producing performance reports and presenting them to clients.

  • Excellent understanding of how to use data to enhance campaigns, with strong analytical skills.

  • An excellent understanding of SEO best practice

  • Experience in pitching to clients or prospects.

  • Agency experience is preferable but not essential.
