More about This Role:

Honchō are looking for a Paid Media Junior Account Manager to join our paid team.

You’ll get the chance to work with international brands in the retail, automotive and direct to consumer sectors, you’ll work on creative campaigns designed to gain the best possible results for our client’s.

  • Manage large scale PPC and shopping campaigns across Google and Bing - and manage all paid search advertising campaigns.

  • Manage large scale PPC budgets for a range of clients.

  • Support the team to define PPC strategy for a range of clients, including mobile and tablet campaigns.

  • Working with the project manager to ensure team activity is planned in advance while maintaining healthy profit margins across all clients.

  • Assist Paid Media Manager in achieving department’s commercial objectives and goals.

  • Help the business in maintaining a healthy relationship with all clients and technology suppliers.

  • Actively identify opportunities to upsell and cross sell other services provided by Honcho.

  • Personal development of more junior members of the team, including 121s and the creation of Personal Development plans.

  • Mentoring your team to ensure that they develop a wealth of experience within Search industry.

  • Work within a team, both in person and remotely, to achieve results.

  • Encourage innovation and automation to increase team’s capacity.

Key Requirements:

  • Market leading knowledge of running paid campaigns - including hands on ability to conduct high return on investment campaigns for our clients.

  • Effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills – both internally and externally

  • Ability to manage upwards appropriately ensuring you have all the information you require to complete task, request help and training where necessary and proactively manage deadlines and any workload issues with your manager

  • Timely and accurate delivery of work to the agency and clients

  • Be confident and take the attitude that it’s never too soon to make a constructive contribution to the discussion, volunteer new ideas and make suggestions for improved ways of working.

Essential Skills: 

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience within a similar role

  • Solid understanding of PPC channel

  • Fully GAP qualified & accredited in all department tools & platforms.

  • Experience in using management software – Marin, Kenshoo, Double Click etc.

  • Ability to communicate confidently and succinctly to clients at the most senior level

  • Strong interpersonal skills
