Honchō are looking to hire a driven copywriter. An individual who is keen to be part of a team focussed on delivering performance and growth for clients. Responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, understanding audience needs/intent and conducting keyword research. You should also be able to analyse user engagement metrics to determine whether the content is working.

Work as part of the Organic Performance team to maintain and optimise performance of your portfolio of client websites and improve its organic visibility and performance.

Get hands on with technical writing for improving search engine rankings, producing high-quality E-E-A-T content across different websites.

Work alongside our SEO experts to practice, hone and perfect your SEO copywriting skills, with the ambition of becoming a real contributor.

Identify gaps in our client’s content and recommend new topics.

Perform content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.

Establishing style guides that specify the writing styles and tone of voice needed to create engaging content for clients.

Proof-read and edit written pieces before publication.

Conduct keyword and SEO research to understand our client’s customers’ needs.

Monitor our clients web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates).

Developing a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research.

Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics.

Manage the more junior members of the team with their personal development.

Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools.

Solid writing and editing skills in English.

Time-management skills.

BSc in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field desirable.

1-2 years of previous work experience, all backgrounds are invited to apply, copywriting and web development experience is a strong plus.
