Creative Campaign Lead

Summary

Honchō are looking for a Creative Campaign Lead to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build on experience or take the next step into a more senior role with additional responsibility. You’ll get the chance to work with international brands in a variety of different sectors.

A remote or in office role, you’ll work on creative campaigns designed to gain coverage in the press and attract links to our client’s website properties.

The ideal candidate will be ready to take the next step of seniority in their career. You’ll have extensive experience conceptualising, creating, and ideally outreaching Digital PR campaigns, from inception through to execution. You’ll love getting links and achieving results for clients, and have demonstrable experience of creating outreach campaigns for clients across different verticals.

No day is ever the same, so we want someone hungry for new challenges that are adaptable, has a good eye for finding angles for press-worthy content, and the desire to smash KPIs and keep our clients happy.

The role will break down into three key areas, a mixture of the following will be undertaken in the day to day:

General

  • Willing to take a leadership role in the department and mentor and train junior members of the team on ideation
  • Willing to take ownership of client KPIs and wider agency targets and work alongside the DPR&O Team Lead and Head of DPR&O to help achieve these goals
  • Proven track record of delivering creative campaigns that hitting link targets across different verticals.

Campaign Ideation & Production

  • Leading in devising and developing ideas for campaigns
  • Regularly pitch these to the Head of Digital PR & Outreach, internal team, and clients
  • Own the relationships with the production teams both internally and externally to help produce content and campaigns in line with the original idea
  • Have a clear understanding of what makes a strong campaign and are able to make recommendations about which ideas will deliver results

Outreach Strategy

  • Work with the DPR&O Team Lead and the Client Services team to ensure that the campaigns work for clients and outreach and have their root in achieving links and coverage
  • Researching and investigating high quality campaigns from across the industry, using this expertise to generate new ideas and starting points.
  • Has a clear understanding of what journalists are likely to cover, and the content topics which are most shared across a variety of verticals, and consistently seeks to broaden their understanding of the wider content landscape

Other

  • Work with the DPR&O Team Lead and the Client Services team to ensure that the campaigns work for clients and outreach and have their root in achieving links and coverage
  • Alongside the Head of DPR&O and the DPR&O Team Lead, maintain internal communication on performance

Essential Skills

  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint etc
