In their mission to save us even more precious seconds of time Google have this week rolled their Instant feature out to Google Places. On their official blog,  Google stated yesterday “As part of our ongoing effort to give you the Instant experience everywhere on Google, this week we’ve enabled Instant in Places View so you can find where you want to go even more quickly.” Instant Search is now available on all Google verticals with the exception of Google Image Search and just like web search Google Account holders will see the feature enabled by default when looking for local business results. Users can easily turn the feature off by disabling Instant in the settings page when signed in. For user’s that don’t hold a Google Account users will need to enable the feature by clicking on the ‘Instant is Off’ option next to the Search Query box.
