What goes into a launch event?

On Wednesday, 22nd May, iThinkMedia became honchō. We celebrated at our beautiful rural offices that we’re proud to call home, with family, friends and clients.

There was plenty of sunshine, Champagne toasts and, of course, the big reveal. A toe-tapping performance from Wandering Soul got everyone in the party spirit, and, when our guests worked up an appetite, they headed over to the incredible buffet from The Manchester Platter Company.

All in all, it’s safe to say we had a great time.

But what did it take to pull off such a momentous event? A lot of planning, top-notch organisational skills and a few other things too:

  • 2 months of preparation
  • 6 members of staff grappling with a marquee
  • 36 bottles of prosecco
  • 144 bottles of beer
  • 15 bags of ice
  • 150 champagne flutes, tumblers and wine glasses
  • 60 honchō cupcakes
  • 50 French macarons
  • A 3-metre long platter
  • An all-singing roaming quartet
  • 2 ride-on honchō MINIs
  • 2 gorgeous flower arrangements
  • Lots of lovely guests
  • 80 goody bags
  • 2 adorable dogs
  • A couple of sleepless nights for our hard-working event team
